Miniature Composite

In this project, I had to take separate pictures of a lion, plant, and a calf, and composite them all into one final picture. Re-sizing and scaling the objects was probably the easiest task at hand. Creating the shadows and reflections, however, was not. To create a reflection I first had to make a copy of the object, reflect it against the original object, add a Gaussian blur and lower the opacity until the reflection looked believable. This same process was done for the shadows, but before adding the Gaussian blur I filled the object with a dark brown color. Adjusting the Hue/Saturation and adding a Photo Filter made the final composition look much more believable, matching the general hue and atmosphere of the windowsill base layer.
